De gebroeders Hahne hebben het weer geflikt, een prachtige reportage van de 2013 editie van 24H Nurburgring. Vorig jaar maakten zij nog een reportage over het BMW Team Schubert maar dit jaar hebben ze een wat algemenere reportage gemaakt, minstens zo gaaf.
“It was tough. For the drivers. For the teams. And also for us… The 2013 edition of the 24 Hours Nurburgring has been a fight against extreme weather conditions. The race had to be stopped in the night because of heavy rain and fog. In the end it was a 15 hour race… After the re-start in the morning, the rain kept pouring down on the Eifel.
This film is a tribute to all the people that love the “Ring” and this very special race. The campers that defied the mud and moisture. The drivers that were couraged enough to stay on the throttle with zero visibility and hardly any grip. And the mechanics that were struggling against their tiredness. Everyone was chasing his personal dream…”
